Tommy Gardner of The Uncle Brothers performs solo for children preschool through about the age of 12 and, of course, families. His first CD, "My Candy Tree", quickly became a favorite to many younger children (suited for kids 2-7) and his latest CD, "Kangaroo Waffles & Other Treasure" continues the Uncle Brothers' mission to offer kids and adults fun, upbeat, parent-friendly songs.

He put his mark on many standard kids songs by changing or adding new lyrics to make the song stronger, but still keep them recognizable. Songs like, "Little Red Wagon", "More We Get Together", and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" all have parts the kids know, but Tom managed to sneak in some cool and important subtle messages. There's even a fun and upbeat kids medley of popular songs that kids can dance to.

Some songs have been left alone like "Workin on the Railroad" and "This Old Man", but the arrangements and production by Dan Jenks (Redondo Beach, CA) make these party favorites.

Of course, there are originals, too. "Try, Try Again" is about never giving up; "Can't Wait To Go To School" is a perfect song to address seperation anxiety; "Simple Simon Says Song" is a listening and paying attention song (great for movement); and "Angel's Lullaby" is the token lullaby on the CD (a song Tom wrote and sang to his daughters when they were young).
